Yes, specifically that you have hot pressurized oil going into the cabin, which will make a hot mess if something fails, likely taking out many of the important parts of your interior as well as your engine.

Normally I would suggest getting a lifetime warranty slave from a place like AutoZone, since in the Miata world they seem to need replacement yearly, but the fancier clutch kits that use an internal slave seem to work well.

DEI makes one with titanium in it. They all do the same job, and I'm sure equally well. I doubt you could go wrong doubling up like that

The only reason a blanket "reduces the life of a turbo" is because it supposedly traps condensation and speeds up corrosion of the housing. I'm personally a fan of ceramic coating and metal shields in place of it. If they didnt work well, I doubt there would be nearly as many people using them...

Really? I remember SupraofDoom getting all stocked up and trying to convert one, but he ended up selling everything. I havent seen anything since
