Nice runs with the gtr. I mess around with some around here in the mountains.
My OS giken twin plate worked flawless when slipped. I know single plate OS giken and exedy don't do so well after 450 ft lbs or torque.
Next time I will just take pics of all the angles. speaking of bosch 044 pumps, I want a dual pump holder that I see for sale always on ebay. What do you think of those IJ?
Cams need to be degreed and shimed. I have done dyno pulls with your mods and had results in the 350 range with stock twins and stock y pipe. When ever you do upgrade cams you need to use cam gears.
Sorry to op. I will make a for sale thread for those of you that are interested.
I'm selling it because it's collecting dust on my shelf and I'm prototyping a twin plate for a clutch company. So I have no need for it at this time.
Can you afford another engine? It will cost more but it also comes with flywheel. I'm letting it go for 1200, and I drove it from LA to Vegas and a month after that. clutch is still brand new, it retails for 2100 with out the pull to push kit.
I figure that they only made on kind of T3G kit. I have a print out of the boost from that dyno run. We stopped the run at 6K as the car was having an issue with running out of fuel.
Sorry for the late reply guys. Shop keeps me busy. Here is my dyno sheet with the same twins that terror owns now. this was on 100 octane, 440cc injectors (should of had 550's) stock cams, 3in dp, no cat and hks high power catback, SAFC Neo and HKS intake. 23 psi of boost. I think with 272 cams...
In the later years Toyota changed the U-joints in all drive shafts to be none service type. rear mount bracket, there is three kinds They are labeled with a single letter. I have only seen three kinds. I think it's labeled A or B or C.
That driveshaft that you marked jza80 is still a MA71 Driveshaft. The jza70 driveshaft front half is not as wide as the MA71. I have used the MA71 Driveshaft in my 1jz's. I have done Over 100+ swaps and the 7M DS works well for all. I Used a 1jz DS on my 7MGTE, I later swap my 1jz in and no...
2jzgte headgasket can be used or 1jzgte. Cam seals are way different. exhaust gasket is different. Intake manifold gasket on VVTi is a heat shielding gasket, but 1jzgte no vvti can be used. front and main seal are same as 1jz/2jz.
I just recently dyno'ed my VVTI and the wideband read a lean spot 3k to 5k. The AF was at 13.0. I didn't know that because I didn't install my AF gauge. If your engine is runing stock ECU just like mine this could be a reason as to why you rodknocked (detonation) the engine. What is your fuel...
