have you adjusted the duty cycle?.... i was having issues until I adjusted it correctly.... duty cycle is the percentage of time the solenoid vents the wastegate to atmosphere (0psi) but if it's too high (more boost, faster, quicker spool) then you will get boost spikes in lower gears
So the idle is a bit off and my timing light fried... Anyways the issue with blowing the EFI fuse was because the o2 sensor ground shorted and kept blowing the fuse after about 5 sec of starting. Also the harness that runs by the turbo got melted and a few wires were melted together. Fixed that...
I am having a issue. I fixed the idle issue and my tps was calibrated. however I am still having code 51 (goes and comes back) and sometimes idle goes back to 1500-2000rpm and I can hear a pulsating grinding noise coming from the cps area. To me the sound seems to be coming from the fan clutch...

why dont you do a search and find the appropriate item(s) that would be removed. there are many threads that explain it all. Or better yet, why not go into the standalone/piggyback section in the forum...you dont need to try and hi-jack a thread.....:3d_frown:
I am actually going to buy new vinyl to cover the carpet on the doors and redo the dash. let you guys know how it come out, today with lots of pictures
welcome to SM and good luck with your build. search the for sale section or search around for some good places to buy engines from. i got my gte from tigerjapanese.com you might be able to find other sites. good luck.
^^^ idk....
first off is it a w58 or R154? if it's a w58 then you will need a flywheel from a 1jzge or 2jzge (same) but if your using the R154 then you will need a gte flywheel. another words, no you cannot use a flywheel form a 7m on a jz style engine...
had the same issue, mine would sometimes die if i went into nuetrel form driving on the freeway. so rpms around 3500 - 4000. also would hesitate on WOT around 3000 rpm all the way. and idle when warm (sometimes) would be at spec 650. i replaced the iscv and it solved the problem.
thats kinda of what i've been thinking ^^^..... i mean they even say how cheap copies and stuff from china are not made very well, however they are seling them to us... i make my own stuff but would prefer the bic over the cheapy anyday
you would never put lucas in your engine again after you see what it does... personally i dont think frothing up your oil is a good thing. hopefully you get the problem fixed
