Hey guys. It's been awhile since my cars acted up but here it goes again:nono:. Okay... lets start this out. My car is stock other than a 3"in custom elbow,DP, and exhaust. I also have an AEM tru-boost controller on it. I had to switch out the turbo earlier this year. I replaced with another stock one. But lately when i accelerate at part throttle my car seems to surge. Kinda like giving/letting off the gas. It sounds different too when it does it. If I accelerate 3/4 or full throttle it's fine. But I have the controller turned all the way down. And If I put it in third to pass on the highway my boost still creeps up and I hit fuel-cut. Same goes for if I have it sliding in first and grab second. Since I'm only hitting fuel cut at higher rpms I wouldn't think of it being a boost leak. I previously ran the car at 10lbs on the controller and it worked fine. But now I turned it off I'm hitting fuel-cut? I'm still running the stock BOV. And it's probably never been replaced(178,000miles). Would it cause these problems?
But like I said I never had the problem until I turned the controller all the way down. It's the only thing that i changed. Maybe the car liked it at higher boost:evil2:. (But I'm trying to save my headgasket until this summer.)
