Its a stock LSD. Never been opened to my knowledge.

It was surprisingly inexpensive...only $22 for 2 quarts and a bottle of the modifier. I'm going to change it tonight so I will report back

Jdub recommends Ford oil with friction modifier on high mileage diffs...I'm hoping it gets rid of the clunk I have.

The ford oil is not synthetic...thats my whole point

I am going to change my diff fluid to the ford oil with the friction modifier but I want to clean out the RP synthetic first. Is it safe to spray brake cleaner in the diff? or will it mess up the LSD clutch packs? Many Thanks!!

What if water go in through the breather while I was cleaning it? This would decrease lubricity...maybe make gear noise louder??

HAHA yes sir! Lasted about 5 years before they started to come up. I have all new tiles to redo it...but this time I will properly clean the floor before adhering them. Then I'll get rid of that Chevy emblem and get either a Toyota one or a Supra one...maybe both haha

I guess I should expand slightly on this... It will depend on your drop in the rear...I have a 1in drop in the rear and fit 295s with no pull or roll on 17x9 +38 with no rubbing

You dont need to pull in the rear to fit 295s...just get to correct offset.
