Showing my SM love in Forza 2!

I just preferred racing the MKIII with the 1G-GTE in it for some reason... It was a more tame car to handle versus the wheel spinning torque of the 7M and 2JZ swaps.

    600hp mkiii vs 07 zo6

1J is a senile old man

Better watch out guys, he goes to the gym and works out with top fuel dragsters, who are actually women, who tell him about slowing down so fast after the parachute lauches that their retinas feel like they're going to separate from thier eye :aigo: ;)

    rod bearing woes

I've got another one to add to that, coolant mixing with motor oil. Due to a BHG most likely, or a really ignorant individual who can't tell the difference where to put coolant, and where to put oil. This mix will create an acid, which eats away at softer metals relatively quick (rod and...

Whats the best DP to get for the Mk3?

I have a cooleeze DP. To whoever stated they have shitty welds, have you owned one? Mine's just fine. I've only scraped it once and that was because I parked the car on the side of a ditch by a friends house and scuffed my header wrap in the grass. Greg Pickett is also a fellow supra owner...

    Sharing my BHG

You most likely get metal shaving all in your oil and water jackets. I wouldn't recommend it personally...

    Sharing my BHG

He means he was racing/playing around ;). Good thing you parked it when it happened. People, notice how his pistons aren't steam cleaned? THAT'S how you're supposed to treat the car when you BHG'd, pull it over immediately and don't drive it until fixed properly.

How long do you idle for?

I take off after 10 seconds of idling. I drive it easy until it's warmed up, but don't grandma it either.

    The (old) Official Gun Thread.

I got to pop off a few mags in the P95 yesterday/after reading the link you posted John I do believe that I'm one of the guys on there that isn't experiencing any jam issues so far :) Oh, it's a decocker model BTW: P95DC blued steel The manual states it as a P95DPR IIRC...

Anybody get a good X-mas bonus?

I got a bonus of around $1,56x.xx. After combining into my regular check/taxes/insurance/401K/ I netted about $1,599.94..... There went my normal check, I got to keep like a whole 30 bucks...

    cam trouble

If they get polished, then the extra material being removed could possibly put the tolerances between the cams and the cam saddles out of spec, thus the saddles will need to be resized. If not, the polished cams will just gouge out the saddle even more. That means nice little AL shavings...

Is there a demand for custom Fiberglass interior parts?

Okay, How about this: on the opening of the box where the 4" pipe would bolt to, instead of having a round, 4" section of fiberglass jutting out for the pipe to be clamped to, have a short section of actual 4" pipe fixed into the fiberglass box as a single piece with the rest of the design...

    *MHG Reuse*

John, thoughts on Permatex Brake Quiet? Think it'll perform the same?

    cam trouble

Don't put the polished ones back in the head, they will only open up the clearances more, then they WILL be out of spec.

    Ky Suprameet??!!

:biglaugh: you'll be making that much with just an exhaust (less than 1K) and IC hardpipes and new/better FMIC (mid 500.00's) This is in regards to selfinfliction's post, not Dave's, of course ;)
