I was pm'ing you as you were writing this!LOL!
Thanks for the compliments!
Yeah, looking for a new job but have had a couple of interviews already, I normally don't go with out work for too long.
You have a very nice car yourself sir!! It's been lowered and some new wheels added since the...
Nope, no 2 step, just good ole regular mods. Launching at what rpms Duane? If too low I could see bogging out, too high spin? I guess I'll just have to try it out this weekend. What I was doing before was like a fast slip at 3700 and bogging then at 4500 would spin.
I've been thinking about that, But there have been times I have made several passes at one track day and been fine. I thought about taking it out, that is just a lot of work though.
It's really dirty. As soon as I get a job, (just got laid off) I'll be sending a bunch of parts to the local powder coating shop. It's low 400's for now on pump. 407rwhp 408rwtq at 19psi on pump.
Going to the track on Sat and hoping for some good times. I chatted with Slow66 and going to try what he told me to do. I have a stage 4 clutch with a fidanza flywheel and stock r154, stock DS and rear end. Have some MT ET Street radials too!!! Going to try my luck on Sat!!
The 20G is a good turbo, it will max out about 450rwhp, It might spool up about 100rpm faster, that's it. The JT61 at the same psi level will yield much more hp than the 20G and have a much better top end. I have had the 20G and now a JT58 and the JT is a far superior turbo!
Just undo the upper control arm bolt! It's the long one that goes all the way through It's 19mm, just did it and it is worth your time and effort to take it out!!
I have reused mine. Before I did, I talked with a couple Toyota Mechanics/Techs with Supras and they say that it is perfectly fine to reuse them. Just make sure that you tighten them down correctly like Poodles said and put some loctite Red or Permatex and torque to specs.

This is with stock springs, just lowered the perches on the Shock it self.
The jack stand is there because my driveway slopes and I was putting on my new drag wheels.
Oh yeah, who is the guy that has the sig that...
I know that there are atleast 6 of us going out there to see what we come up with. It's the first day that Ennis is open, staging lanes open at 11:30 and close at 6:00pm. If anyone needs some practice for TX2K9 this would be great for you! It's only $15 to race!
I'm going but my car is slow...
You will need some tires for sure. I could get some descent 60' times with street tires but you will need to get another set of wheels and put some sticky tires on them! BTW, I have already pm'd you all of my mods before
