this happened to me, my ambient air temp sensor was just unplugged. just pull off the dash trim on the pass side and check it thru there.

another aussie had a diff approach to that ffim idea, moved the entire TB assembly. credit goes to JayRome, got that pic from his build thread on here.

im having the same problem right now, except i just replaced my slave and master cylinders, and it doesnt leak anything at all... bled it and adjusted the master but it always goes back to what the OP described. im gonna completly drain it, and bleed it, perhaps moisture got in the brake...

sounds like no voltage from the battery, double check all the connections again. possibly the factory alarm going haywire?
