I think that the IC that you have right now is fine for your setup. You have a bolt on SP67 so It's going to be laggier than a regular 67 with a full T4 setup. I run a 22x10x3 setup for my JT58 Boss turbo it's a much smaller turbo than yours. My setup isn't very laggy at all. Now It's also a...
Most of it is Lexan and stock body with a big tub and solid rear axle. It has a smaller fiberglass front on it so it would reduce frontal area and reduce drag.
Yeah just run stock until you get some more mods. I run .30 with my 400rwhp and it's fine. When I go to the track and do some pulls on high boost I run .28.
If you guys just practice, I've got BFG G Force 275/40/17's and can cut some 1.9, 2.0's consistantly with those with my 5 spd. Now I'm looking for a 1.7 with my MT DR's
Texas Nationals? TX2K9 you mean? I went and raced and was in charge of the MK3 classes with Victor. Next year will be even better. 2010! I'm going to be going to IFO in Ennis this year as well in NOV, hoping for a mid 11 sec pass. Hoping for a high 11 soon. Love my Welds/MT setup! Best...
Actually almost all of us in DFW, HOT ASS TX run the Koyo! I know of 15
MK3's that run them in TX. I've run 350 miles on a hot TX day averaging 85 with many 120+ pulls and never over heated. As well as making several back to back drag runs on a hot TX Day. The PWR is the thickest by just a...
I have a JT58 that uses the stage 4 boss turbo with a 60-1 comp wheel and I've run many 12's with my lex afm and 580's. I'll be going for 11's in a couple of weeks.
Where in TX are you?
Ken, yes that was what it was doing, when I reinstalled it the first time. I put it on the tabs wrong. I reinstalled it a second time and now it's great. I wiggled the wiring harness a little bit and the code is now gone. So I will take out wiring harness and see what happened to the...
Great runs! It's always nice messing around with domestic cars. Were you on street tires? I love pulling up to a domestic meet with my MT DR's on, love the responses I get!!
I've never had a problem with this before I took it all apart. I have a brand new engine harness, that I have not had a problem with. I think that it's the wiring for the wideband.
I have a guy that I get all my aluminum pipes welded from, I'm going to take my car over to him to see if he could weld that up for me real quick. I'm not going to use any JB weld, that's for sure.
Thanks, I'm going to swap it out with another one that I have if I can find it today. I've adjusted them before many times and never had this problem. The only thing that I could think of was my wiring harness because I would also get a code 14 and when I removed my glove box it wouldn't throw...
Thanks for the reply. So how do I fix this then? I tried adjusting the darn thing a several times. But the only time that I found that I had this code was after I put my car back together and installed my zeitronix wideband that reads TPS through the VTA (I think that's it) wire. So maybe I...
Ok reinstalled TPS and now it is just like before with out code 51. I just keep getting a code 41, if I adjust it too much code 51 comes back. Need some help. I've taken it off and put it back on and did at least 20 adjustments.
Can't get rid of this code 41
