So some of you think it would be just fine to reuse the HKS GASKET if I strip it and put a few layers of copper spray on it. My question is... What is the best way to remove the rest of the material from the gasket?
I took the head off for the same reasons your avatar states. (running too hot) I did a dye test and turned out I had either a blown head gasket or a crached head. So I took the head off and there was coolant around my intake valves for cylinder 6 (cracked head). The gaskit itself looks to be...
I have an HKS metal head gasket. My question here is if this thing is re-usable? I've been told by one individual that he has re-used them in the past. Is this an ok thing to do or would I just be wasting my time if I tried to re-use the one I have? It looks to be in good shape. If not, I will...
I think it is for a manual because of the color on the sticker. I think the automatic one is green. I've seen some ones that are green and not purple. I think they were auto. This could have nothing to do with it though.
Hey guys. This might end up to be a stupid question but; Why is one redline at 6.5 and the other is at 7 rpm on you gauge clusters? (I'm speaking about your avatars) Is there a difference in year?
It's cheeper to make big power with a big single. I know if I had the money to do so, I'd go with two HKS T51R turbos and not just one (one is still expensive). Single is less expensive to put together and to maintain if something breaks. I think everyone who goes with big single turbos would...
Ha, Ha! I feel sorry for you guys but my car is registered in South Carolina where there is no smog. The way I get away with this is because I'm in the Air Force. I can keep my car registered wherever. One thing the government did right. ::salute::
Head test came up posative for leaks so I either have a blown head gasket or a crached head. I however don't think it's a blown headgasket because of two reasons. 1: it's an HKS head gasket and I know it's not improbable to blow but given the circumstances, I don't think it did. 2: There's no...
I recintly got my car on the road and I think I'm running a bit hot. I've been building from 90 degrees celsius to 120 degrees celcius. I feel like 120 is too high. Does anyone else measure by celcius? What is too hot?
That's was mine up at Danzio. They really know what they're doing there. 100% satisfied. I'm bringing it back there in a few weeks to bring it up to full potential.
