not yet, i may have to in the future lots of stuff is going out on my car, i have had this issue happen to me a few times though and i have managed to pop start my car so i do know that the stock alarm system isn't going to prevent someone who really wants my car from taking it, i thought i...
im a young retard so ill pass along something a wise (old) man told me once, start simple, then work ur way up still get angry at myself cuz i forget a lot of the simple things damn tail light realy lol.
my car hasn't gotten there yet but i have always been wondering about making it very difficult to impossible to steal since i have gotten it, no one has answered my question yet is there any kind of switch that will shut off when the turbo timer does but needs to be manually pushed in order to...
if u read this thread it was about the stock alarm system not disarming because one of the parts got worn out on the locks, from my understanding of it the fix is either get the replacement part or disconnect the stock alarm system, my question was is there any kind of switch that will kill the...
i gotta good question, now that we have taken out the stock alarm system and chances are most of us are running turbos and have turbo timers are there any special kinds of switches that we could use as kill switches so we can still walk away as the turbo timers do their stuff or are we doomed to...
oh another random thought how thin of a tire could we go with using the stock rims? the biggest reason our cars suck in snow is cuz our tires are so fuckin wide.
what about snow with that kinda power? with my stock 7mgte i have problems, granted that was because i couldn't afford to get snow tires and i was workin my way around with yokohama yk520's (got them to spin with the engine's idle a couple times) but even with snow tires how manageable would it be?
my brake lights aren't coming on, the bulbs are new so they are not the cause of the problem, i am thinking its either electrical or the switch. does anyone know of a way to test the switch or if using a wire to connect the wires in the connection to the switch will be enough to make the light...
havn't checked the codes yet, last time it wouldn't stop giving me i think it was 51 which basically was saying turn off the A/C but i pulled that out and turned it off and it kept giving me the same code, as for mods i have a bored out turbo, aftermarket BOV, and a rebuilt engine, no boost...
i have the 7mgte, has a bunch of new stuff on it and every once in a while it stalls out on me but only at idle. i tried putting some injector cleaner in it and it seemed like it helped but it is still going on. could this be from the injectors or something else, if it is from the injectors...
finally got her running, but the napa power steering pump is goin to shit after about 3000 miles, and i believe the injectors are going.... and the syncros are going out...... and i need to install the aluminum intercooler kit......... and i need to get an exhaust system....... oh and one of my...
ty everyone for the tips, one last thing, whats the best way to flush out all the ps fluid so i can get the atf in there? also any recommended brands of atf?
i have a 1990 supra 7mgte, i recently replaced both the rack and pinnion and the power steering pump, they were both napa brand. ok so now on to the issue, whenever the car is cold(not run for at least 8 hours usually overnight) the power steering pump wines like it doesn't have any fluid in it...
well i got lucky, turns out that when i put the engine back together after the rebuild i routed the harness wrong and the egr burned through some wires, had a shop fix it cuz of an injury but at least i didn't get too involved with it, thanks for all the help guys.
i got 126 (GPS) on a back country road and then thought about how bad it would be if a deer came out in front of me so got back down to 80. 1990 supra 7mgte, ct40 turbo from TEC(stock boost), and a rebuilt engine.
ive decided to replace the harness once i move i cant have wires goin bad on me, i checked around the coils and ignitor and the cam sensor and under the dash and couldnt find anything. btw with all the injectors and that other thing unplugged the fuse still popped
