You need to have the right bellhousing to go from the engine to the trans. There are bellhousings to go from M series engines to W58 (NA MKIII) M series engine to R154 (Turbo MKIII/MA70) JZ engines to W58 (NA MKIV) and JZ engines to R154 (JDM Turbo MKIII/JZA70). You just need the right...
For ~$50 you could get a rebuilt caliper, or both calipers with pads for ~$80. Considering the PITA it could be to fix that I think those are good options, plus the sliders will work nice.
I'm using a chromoly lightweight flywheel, will that be OK.
I have the ACT HD pressure plate, I'm not sure why HPF lists an Extreme PP for the Supra, ACT doesn't show it on their site...
The ACT with the stock disc is only rated at 405, which isn't enough, and it uses a 32% stiffer PP to...
I would wire up the transformer by itself, without the lights or 120v hooked up then use a multimeter to make sure you have some resistance between the two places you plan to hook up the 120V, then hook up the 120V and use the meter to check that you have 12V where you plan to hook up the lights.
I didn't see anyone selling a full face disc that wasn't organic or kevlar or feramic($), after looking more at the ACT clutches though I better figure out if I have the HD or the Extreme PP.
EDIT Actually, the SPEC 3+ disk would fit the bill, just need to find it for less than $324 (EDIT...
My latest supra came with a ACT HD pressure plate and 4 spoke unsprung disk, it is truly awful to drive :3d_frown: My past cars have had good success with the oldschool RPS stage 3, smooth engagement and held 400 RWHP and plenty of drag racing with some pretty sticky tires. However, I get the...

How about mixing E85 with 87 octane regular unleaded (which is actually E10 around here, and is supposed to go up to E20 in the future) to get the octane you need for your setup and keep you cost/mile below what it would be on premium unleaded? Seems like there is alot of room to make...
Great thread!

" wether you are using the 5m or 7m pump, there is a clearance from the gears, to the lower case. there is a minimum and maximum tolerance. what you need to do is measure that, and then have the cover machined at the machine shop to put this as close to the...
EDIT: Removed all my jibber jabber about why this belongs in the other section as it got moved while I was typing.
Have you looked at the new AEM F/IC vs. the full EMS? Looks well suited to this type of application.

Sounds like you have everything covered, just wanted to make sure you and everyone reading this knew it was going to be well over $2K to finish.
What 7M specific engine stuff will you have left in the car? Just the CPS, right?
