So, to expound on this a little more. I believe all this turbo needs are new bearings. It is a lot tighter than my factory turbo, and comes to an abrupt halt when you give it a good spin. It also will stop spinning at idle, and even giving it a flick with the engine running will only result in...
Yeah, that was one of the first things I checked after seeing 4 psi of boost. But it was closed at idle and it took about 7-8 psi to open it.
With that being said, I put my old turbo back on, and performance is restored.

I know lotus did the suspension, and then Toyota decided that the bushings were too stiff and basically ruined the handling lol

That's why I really don't have a problem banging the rev limiter on my rebuilt 7mgte. He obviously had other problems with the engine if running it through the gears blew it up. Something tells me this was a long time coming.

Uppers were the easy part. I could have them out and new ones in In 10 minutes. Lowers, if I were to do it again, would be going to someone with a press

No exhaust leaks, and bolts are tight. What I'm planning on doing is buying a rebuild kit and rebuilding one of my spare Turbos with the help of my dad and putting that on in place of the 57 trim. Plus replacing all turbo gaskets.

Yes, I checked the timing because of this issue.
With the stock ct it would boost fine, albeit 6 pounds and it was kind of slow. So I checked for boost leaks and found none, and the turbo was blowing oil so I replaced it with a 57 trim. Didn't fix the issue, and it seems sluggish. No turbo...
