I wouldn't be too worried about it. My old shell was rusty as hell, 220k on the clock, 10k of which were ran with the same BPU 7M which is in my current shell. And lets just say those 10k were not easy miles lol. Still no cracking.
Honestly, I wouldn't really worry about it until around 400 tq...
The po of my shell was running a 400 hp 2jz, and I'm running a BPU 7M. Not a trace of a crack.
Then again.. the shell has ZERO rust and only 100k on the clock.. ;D

Basically. If you're running well over stock power, then the torque can cause the diff mounts to rip out, in extreme cases. Usually what I see are cracks.
