it's pretty awesome how a 20 year old car has more technology than car's today have, not like Volvo and BMW... those are different. but i like 89+ seats. they have electric recline, instead of turning the knob on pre 89, i don't know why they did that

i just don't see it as much of an upgrade. yeah it's a better platform for a turbo than the 7MGE. but for all the work required, it's just worth it to buy a GTE motor. what's kinda funny though, since i bought another mk3. this time NA, i kinda want to keep it NA. i trust it to drive across...

i like the look of both styles. i wanted to get the tails for my 87, but i just couldn't see paying so much just for lights, when mine are in perfect condtion and i still like how they look.

you're gonna have to take the pulley off. if i do remember correctly, or i may be confusing the 7m cover with the 2jz

so eagle rods are a no go. even though they are half the cost of the crower and pauter. i figure all the money going into the 7M, FULLY BUILT, would be way better than the money i would have to spend to swap in a stock 2jz. i mean, i'm talking like 600 rwhp with this build, maybe more.

no eagles, what else is there? i've read many threads about eagles being, bad, good, alright.... i know th rod bolts they come with are weak, but the rods themselves are ok.

edit: well, i totaled up all the parts. it's gonna cost me probably 10k for the build up. that's everything, brakes, suspension, engine. so with the Map-ecu 2, i don't need an AFC... does it control boost cut too?... i really am leaning towards building a 7M... my buddy who has a turbo RSX...
