no, i'm not really worried about it, i just wanted to see if it made any difference. it's a motor i don't care about and i have another car that i drive around anyway. so if anything happens i don't care. i'm pulling this motor out anyway when i get back from the desert.

so it took a couple hours to swap the cams over from my turbo head that was just sitting there. it doesn't really feel any different. it was slow to begin with, so... but i do notice around 5k rpms, it feels like there is a little more pull. so i'm happy :)

wow, i never knew a chunk of cast iron could warp...7M torque! one thing though, did you take the watermump housing in with the block when it got decked? i never knew you had to do that when i had mine decked. they need to be perfectly level together. or else the head would never go on right.

XSPower T70 i didn't continue with the 7M, i swapped in a 2jz, which i used this turbo on it. i was amazed by it, gonna get another one next year when i do the swap again

check the O2 sensor. i had the same problem until i replaced it. then it ran perfect.

just get the brackets from BIC, and new rubber vibration absorbers. they come with new bolts and washers, that way everything is new and won' give you any problems

maybe you could modify the manifold to put 2 ct26 or use the 2jz twin turbos i've always loved the idea of using 2 ct26 turbos

i would be getting the map-ecu2 if i were to do this, i found my waterpump housing, so that take care of that issue. i mocked everything up and pretty much everything is there, i might leave the head alone for now, it's inpretty good shape.

yeah, you'd think the 7M would have more torque. just couldn't revv as high. looking at Dr.jonz engine really pushes me towards the 7M at this point.
