    FS: Aristo 2JZ-GTE

You DO realize that a 2JZ will bolt into your JZA70 REALLY easily right? I mean you already have the pan, mounts, and bellhousing ;) ...part out exhaust manifold maybe? Trade for stock twin setup?

    quick question about a Camry...

My bet is the front edge of the pan is no longer flat, and thus not sealing. Get under the car, figure out where it's leaking from, throw some FIPG in it, and fill it back up. The problems she's having are just from low fluid. The transmission SHOULD be fine.

Any experience with '95 Celica 5 speed tranny?

I had a MKIII celica up to about a month ago. That's an RA60 for you uninitiated. I sold it to someone who needed it more than me. God I miss that car.

    intercooler question

good luck. That's 24", plus the end-tanks. Granted, they are huge tanks. They hit the frame JUST where the end-tanks curl outward, so say 3" on either side? I can't see how 32" PLUS end-tanks is going to fit without some serious mods.

    boost controler ?n

You laugh. My brother actually did it on his Volvo. He put a Tee onto the wastegate line, and put a length of hose off the tee. The less hose on the tee, the less resistance, and the more boost he had. He just cut a few inches at a time until he got the boost he wanted.

    Two stepping?

My two-step is programmed to disengage once I pass about 15km/h. I have NEVER had an issue with hitting the two-step under that speed.

Can compressor surge cause the turbo to seize?

I've seen surge snap shafts, I've seen surge shock center cartridges enough to destroy oil seals, I wouldn't be surprised if the shock could destroy a bearing too. Get a damn BOV :)

    Dual Bosch 040 Fuel Pumps

Why go with dual 040? Why not just go with an 044 (~340lph). And what bgrieger said, even though it doesn't appear to flow as much as a walbro, walbros are garbage under pressure, which is why you see people needing so many of them for higher horsepower. A single 040 at higher pressures (say...

    Torque wrench for rebuild

I use a 1/2" one for everything. If it's too low for the 1/2", it's one of those "It's tight enough" things.

Joe made a really dumb MSPaint picture a year or two ago that explains this really well.

    Cigars =)

It's only because of the USA/Cuba trade embargo, nothing else. Most people will agree that Cubans have a distinct taste that you can't find in other cigars. Whether you believe that or not, they're still pretty damn good cigars.

    boost controler ?n

or you can be REALLY cheap, and just cut a small slit in the vacuum line to your wastagate :) In all seriousness, boost controllers work on ANY boosted car.
