you can block it off, and use a different port. It's not absolutely necessary. I actually run my MAP sensor off a diferent port to provide a more precise signal.
Yeah, you are pretty close to the limit.
My stock(ish) fuel pump making 400whp on my 1JZ was running my 800cc injectors around 85% duty cycle at 7500rpm just because it couldn't flow enough fuel. So yeah, it will flow 400whp, but it's at its limit.
FWIW, my 1JZ on stock twins ran 96% duty...
I find it funny that over the years of mods, my car STILL gets the same milage that it always has. From stock 1JZ to big single standalone 1.5JZ
In the city, 60L gets me ~350km. On the highway, 60L gets me ~630km (even with boosting, and excessively speeding). I drive with a pretty big lead foot.
I'll tell you tomorrow. It's a custom turbo kit designed by "Bob's Automotive Engineering", I kid you not. It bolts up to the stock manifold, has a T3 on it which is actually in PERFECT condition surprisingly enough. For a 26 year old turbo, it has NO shaft play.
anyways, it's my friend's...
SARD = Denso.
And yes, they make up to 800cc high impedance injectors that will drop into the 2JZ rail. I have a set of 800cc Densos too. Awesome injectors :)
Yes, 2JZ-GTE is side-feed, just like the 1JZ. And yes, the JDM 2JZ uses high-impedance injectors.
What you need to do is take off the air filter, and seal the end, then pressurize the system. A cheap method is to go get a PVC end cap from home depot, and stick a valve from an inner tube in it.
Alternatively, go find a shop with a smoke machine. It's a little easier to find leaks that way.
I was running 18psi on my 4088. I'm pretty sure there was a flaw in the coupler though. It was funny. I couldn't figure out why I wasn't hitting full boost until 6500 :)
By a magnet ;) Edit: damn kai beat me to it.
Those things on the bottom of the battery are a stack of magnets. The magnetic field is simply strong enough to holt the top of the battery to the hanger.
