The 89 is like that plugged toilet that we all have from time to time....
With plunger in hand, we look down at it and wonder...why didn't I wait until I got to Walmart to take a dump!?
Glad to see you put the tape on Ron. It looks good! When I saw that, I thought you had just mocked up the fit. You're good now though. ;)
I like the gauges. What are they?
Now that I'm getting the hang of how to use it, I'll get more vids up.
My base timing set to stock. 10*BTDC. I'm considering giving it a little. Maybe 12*? What are your thoughts?
Yeah, that vid was taken at 12 psi. I hadn't turned the boost up yet; but, acceleration is noticeably...
Here's a short vid of a test drive with the COP's firing baby! :evil2:
Notice the neck snapping acceleration of this 12 psi 2nd gear pull. ;)

Thanks guys.
I went and bought a spark/coil tester. I tested all of the COP's and associate plug wires. All of them fired. Really confused at that point, I stuck the stock coil pack on and did the same test and all fired.
I did notice a difference however. With the COP's, the coil for 3&4...
Ok. I got my COP's to run. Woo Hoo!!!
I'm going to go out and put the pedal down to see how she holds up. If all goes well.....17 psi here I come! :)
I'll try to get an idle vid up this weekend.
Just now saw this and all I can say is "It's about time someone did this to a 7M!!!" :)
Really nice work Seth!
EDIT: And NO.....I'm not commenting on the destruction. ;)
Well, I just got the COP's working tonight. Yay!
I'll drive the car tomorrow and beat on it a bit to see if things have improved at all. However, my idle is still quite bumpy.
Either of those cases should throw a code 14. If there is no improvement with the new COP's, I'll install a spare...
At 'Key On' 2&5 fire one time. None of the others do.
How I see this is with my spark/coil tester in between the coil and the plug.
EDIT: The coil for 2&5. Just wanted to clarify...
Hmmm....I can't speak for everyone else; but, my weekend is booked solid because of the Holiday. :(
I'll try to make it out to see you and Rob though. Which reminds me! I need to get your pictures to you...
Over the course of a couple of months, the typical Supra "Idle Bumps" have been increasing and it is also showing up under load. At WOT, it almost feels like a slipping clutch. My clutch is new...
I have tried three different stock coil packs, two igniters, and my plugs and wires are new...
^Photoshopping is far from hacking and in itself, is an art form.
Should anyone want to strut their "photoshop" stuff, let's get it on! :)
Or any other light-hearted competitions. There are a lot of talented people around here. Let's have a little fun!
