For x90 ecu just ground the cold side of the circ op relay in the body harness. This would be the wire from the maf on the body harness. This is effectively like doing the 12v mod. Pump turns on with +b1 from efi relay. The ecu doesn't care if the fuel ecu is there or not it just assumes it is...
you sure youre on the right one? IS it continuous to ig-on the diag box? Should be on the 4 wire plug from the igniter. Iirc that plug is igf to ecu, ig- to tach, power, and ground.
Okay when the ecu sees voltage at the igsw pin it turns on the efi relay via the mrel pin. So if you indeed have power at igsw then either your ecu isnt turning on the efi relay (which is +b/b1 but also powers other stuff) or it isnt connected.
Got a voltmeter? Maybe it's the ecu?
I like...
Yeah coil and igniter share the same power source. Should be a black/orn wire on pin 3. Check for power on IG2 key position just to be sure. the other 4 are the igniter connector. It's pretty much the same on all 90s single coil toyota stuff. tach is usually black and goes to ig- on diag box...
they are both okay with any coil really.
Power the coil from the same wire igniter is powered from. Pin 3 on 2j one I think. They are all pretty obvious. The wires are igt to ecu, igf to ecu, coil - to coil duh, ig- to tach, power from key.
Have fun./
Okay ecu turns on +b with mrel. So maually jump the efi relay to make sure its wired in.
You have fuel during cranking because the relay has two coils. You'd have fuel during cranking even with no ecu. Make sense?
yeh they are right. 4 cyl and 6 syl use the same one.
Just for reference I recently did a vvti 1j swap and a brand new mkiv cable was too short but the camry fit right on. I think TB position would be different on vvti.
HAHAHAHA
The whole point is to look completely awesome. Scrape on as many things as possible. Make ass many loud/awesome noises as possible. That's kinda what drifting is.
And as for the camber thing. It's a mac strut running high amounts of caster car so when drifting the leading tire on...
yeah I think these 2j cams arent cutting it. The turbo is still making boost up top but yeah it's getting close. That analogue 1 graph is thew boost. I think it's pretty errastic because I have mbc. Powerfc is radical though. I think with boost control kit this turbo should make 18psi...
Hey fellas so I did some tuning last night on my powerfc. Here's what I came up with.
This is stock 2jgt block, stock 1j head with usdm 2j cams.
It drops off severely up top is that about right or what? If that's it I'm fine with it as I don't wanna spend for a new intake mani. It's also cool...
