im looking to replace my clutch as it has been slipping on me lately. im looking to be making around 375-425hp in the near future, which of these clutches in the links below would you recommend for me to get? also if you know of any other clutches that would be good, and not to expensive please...
anybody in IL or surrounding states that would be willing to do this job for me? i can drive my car to you. if anyone could help me out please let me know!! thanks!
just dont boost it hard. drive it easy for a while. you can just hold a steady boost under fuel cut if you dont floor it. just an idea :P i know we all like to be able to get on it when wanted..lol
ok, thats kinda what i figured, i mean my clutch is like 21 years old its the original and im making right around 300hp and alittle more torque and mines been slipping on me. so time for a new one :( wish it didnt cost so much to get them installed.. gerr.
i know this is a very broad question, but in general what kind of power should i be putting down with the mods i listed and 550s, lex afm, and safc. tuned to like 16psi?
i think i'll deffinitly do lex afm and 550s with a safc for tuning to get even more power. :) but what exactly is the maft-pro? and whats the advantage? cost? thanks
right now iam trying to figure out what i should do next on the supra, in terms of adding power. i would like to reach 350-400hp. my current mods are:
60-1 ct-26 turbo
full 3in exhaust
new HG and ARP's tourqed to 82ft lbs
newer head/and resurfaced
NGK plug wires
Hard pipes/intercooler...
wow that was the best news i'v ever heard!! makes me wonder if i even had a BHG in the first place, cause they've done the dye in the past, ended up geting a new HG and head cause i thought it was a BHG.
the shop put dye in my oil to find the oil leak, got the oil leak fixed. just wondering if the dye would stay in the oil and show up a few days later? thanks
