Great Looking turbo! Look forward to seening everthing together & running for ya soon.
Don't forget dbSupra90 (Dave) He has some great deals on standard & custom turbos. A bunch of great reffrences also :biglaugh:
They have one but its a white N/A. Last I seen it was a cpl years ago or more. Had no wing & SE markings. Not sure if it could be the same one painted blue.
What are the WHP Goals? Basic things you will need would be Wire Harness from both, a EMS, 1JZ bell housing or GM adaptor (depends on tranny used) custom motor mounts from BIC Performance if pre late 89 body. Other depends on the HP Goals.
I would like to install a aftermarket steering wheel and quick release hub in my 89 & keep the cruse control. I have searched & did not find any info if this has been or could be done. My plan is to use a pre or post 89 cruse control stalk but I'm not clear how it would mount up or if it would...
I really like the concept & direction you want to go. I think it will look good but getting the right size tips are essential. I don't think the mock up pics does it justice because it looks off scale & appears to be too big. However if its not I think 2.5" outlets w/3" tips max. I see what...
Nope.... Diffrences are in the Valve body and a few more clutches in the tranny itself. Look into the speedo cable & cluster for that fix. Actually to be real spacific:
On the GTE 1st gear,2nd gear Overdrive, & reverse has 1 extra plate & disc. So thats 4 more clutch disc & 4 more plates...
Installed, running great & perfect fit.
What got me worried was the Miss Information about the Length & Spline count for the Turbo Autos DS. This had me beliving that I got the wrong DS. So to correct the previous info for folks in the future The spline count IS 23 and NOT 21. Not sure where...
Well mine measures 48 1/2" tip to tip. So looks like the length is ok. I'm just confused about the spline count. Why does the tranny tail shaft itself have 23 when I'm told it should have 21?
I have searched have not found any info on Driveshaft specs. I need to know how long it is from tip-to-tip & # of Splines that are on the front slip yoke. I would like this info from those that have a spare Auto DS in hand. Also those that have a spare Auto tranny if you would count the #...
I have been looking into doing the same. I found these, tho they may be too long they can be cut down.

Nor have I. I can't think of ever seeing a supras stock springs sag except on 4-runners & a cpl other SUV's but those are leaf springs. How about the decreased spring rate, is that common after 5+yrs?
:werd: My rear ST springs started saging about 4 yrs after I got them installed. Also while the front haven't started to sag it seams the spring rate has decreased dramaticly. So from my exprience springs do wear out. How hard they were driving on as well as the miles on them play a factor.
I had the same problem & it turned out to be a bad ign. wire. The following post by Jeff (jtamulis) let me know how to fix it.
""Fix 1:
I have:
Installed a new starter, ignition switch and replaced the negative cable connector-this solved it for 2 weeks.\Then on a hot day this week, it...
Agreed...That would cause a problem. However I take it that it didn't run correctly at 1st then you cleaned it & you still have the problem. I would say you got a bad afm. Hit up the place you got it from for a refund or replacement.
