replace cracked and worn hoses, a good one to check is the coolant line that goes to the back of the motor,, its easier to do when the head is off.. so if it needs replaced do that. i would also check the intake manifold gaskets, and exhaust manifold gasket. those tend to go out and you'll have...
so does race gas 100-110octane have lead in it?? or is it pure gasoline? im curious cause im going to be getting some race gas to dyno tune my car, and run it at the strip.
ok, well thanks for the helpfull info. my car has a 180* in it at the moment. so i guess its ok. i guess the reasoning behind what i was told is that the cooler things are under the hood the more power you will make..
so your connecting the signals so the pump comes on? hmm.. i would say keep tying it and see if the pressure builds up anymore.. if not the car just might need to be running.. do what you need to to get the car running and worry about it then, cause it might be alright once the car is running
if your pump came on when you connected the signals in the diag. box then its working. as grimreaper said, the pump wont come on till the car is cranking.
fist off i have to say WOW YOUR CAR IS HOTTTT!!! OMG... second i would prolly replace the turbo if i were you, you have such a nice car maybe go with a non-ct turbo. there are some aftermarket turbos that bolt on to the stock manifold and exhaust, i just ordered a lipp boss turbo for my mkiii...
