well we replaced the radiator with one that jeff (boostlee) had. its practicaly brand new. and it still had the same problems..and we have pretty well come to the conclusion that it is the radiator cap that is bad and letting all the pressure out. in the morning im going to run to the auto parts...
Ok, one other thing i forgot to mention. The car is pushing some coolant out of the over flow tank, but not much.
As for the radiator cap, it is a Greddy 1.3 bar that i borrowed off Boostlee, and it is less than 2 years old. However, when i poped the hood after driving the car i heard air...
the car has been compression tested and a block tester was done by the toyota dealership. both test were good... only thing i can think of is if its leaking under a load while driving and not just while sitting at idle. if it was doing that then i wouldnt see the leak.. i'll try your suggestions...
so as some of you know recently my ct60-1 turbo took a dump, the car was losing coolant, and over heating. I bought a Lipp Boss turbo which iam EXTREMLY impressed by.. well i got the car running and everything seemed great untill the spark plugs started sputtering and missing under a heavy load...
you wana bet the turbo will cause it to over heat?? it caused my car to over heat cause it was burning coolant and leaking some coolant. just replaced the turbo and the car runs fine now.
im kinda having the same problem, my car was over heating and coolant was being pushed out the overflow tank, i took my car to a shop had it compression tested they were all between 145-160, then they did a block tester and there were no exhaust gases in the coolant, so that was good. the shop...
i just got a aeromotive fuel pressure regulator for my car, and i was just wondering if anyone had instructions for the install? or if you could simply explain it to me, thanks!

i just bought a aeromotive fuel pressure regulator, i have the lex afm and 550cc injectors, i also have a wideband and safc. i was just wondering as to how much pressure i should have the regulator set to? thanks
my car has the same problem.. i have almost the same mods, i have lex and rc 550s and all the other mods.. my car idles at like 17+ afr and thats with the safc turned up to like +11 for just idle
