what other mods do you have done to your supra? without proper mods you shouldn't go with a bigger turbo.

i ordered a Lipp Boss stage 5 57 trim turbo, the site says its a bolt on but i was wondering if the compressor outlet was the same size as the ct turbo? i need to know so i can get a new lower IC piping parts if i need them

$1500 to strip and machine the head??? WOW thats stupid crazy high.. the dealership that did my headgasket job took my head to a shop they know of and it only cost $150.. $1500 for machining a head is stupid

sounds like fuel cut to me to. how much boost are you running? turn down the boost and see if it goes away

well i dont have a cat. on my car.. so only thing to worry about would be the O2 sensor.. what about the wideband sensor? would it ruin that to? i guess i'll just try to find some unleaded race fuel.

ya if you have that much shaft play and its touching the walls, its done for, or very soon anyway.

i got ARP Head Studs, i told them to torque it to 82ft lbs. and they did. they even did the re-torque job after the 500 mile break in period :D they treat me right and i keep going back to them. and no, the guy didn't get fired. he has even done work for free for me. its a one of a kind shop IMO.

no that estimate is WAY WAY WAY to much.. i had a Toyota Dealership do my head gasket job, they tore the motor apart, did resurfacing/machining, replaced intake mani gaskets, and exhaust mani gaskets, they re-drilled the stud holes for my ehxuast manifold studs cuase the holes were striped out...

ya, i had a ct 60-1.. seemed fine to me to.. i had no idea it was bad untill my mechanic checked the car over.. i wouldnt rule it out till you check it.. i would have the mechanic do a compression test real quick

then again it could be a bad turbo.. my turbo just went bad and i had most of the BHG signs. but its just the turbo. i have great compression and everything.

the BHG is what caused the radiator to leak. get the HG fixed and you'll be good

lol, you deffinitly need to do that mod for sure..

but ya as eman said, if your planning on upgrading anything nows the time to do it, that is if you have the money to do it now.
