Recently my tempeture gauge stopped working. Does anyone know which sensor and wire on the T-stat housing goes to the dash temp gauge? I may have to do some re-wiring or get a new gauge. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem? Thanks.
The GT42 with the 1.05 exhaust housing is a much larger turbo. On a 7m it will be a really laggy turbo. Matt has a 2j with a GT40 with like a .84 or .86 exhaust housing and his car is not streetable in town. Only time its fun is when hes on the interstate. other than that if he gets on it in...
The GT42 is a monster compared to the T70. If your mostly driving on roads in town then the GT42 would almost be pointless. I think you would be much happier with a car that has a good amount of power but is still streetable rather than a car that has so much power you cant do anything with it...
And the good ol' 7M still kept up! :D hahah.. those were fun races till we saw a cop come up behind us........... he didn't do anything though and we got off the exit ramp.
I dont know how i keep out of fuel cut, my car is wierd. Im able to boost about 30psi with 110 octane... and its still running pretty rich at that point.
Ya, the lipp boss has been a great turbo, and i'v made great power from it. Im just looking to start improving things and gains somemore power. And have the availablity for more power once other fuel components are upgraded.
well on the street with 94 octane and about 20psi im making upper 400s. I honestly think the mustang guy was just talking crap to act like a BA, cause right after he asked to race for money or slips he took off and avoided me. He also mentioned that he won that mustang by racing for slips...

265's are a fairly good size, however, the biggest factor in traction is the compound of the tire, not neccesarily the width of the tire. for example, you could have drag radials that are 205's but they can still hook better than street tires that are 285's.
If it is just the .68 and .96 which would you all recommend? I still havent' heard from anyone thats actualy used this turbo on the 7m. I guess i may go with the .68 since im still looking for a streetable turbo, and since my fuel system isn't quite upgraded enough. I know i could at LEAST reach...
yes, thank you. thats the advice im looking for! lol what size to go with for my power goals and what results have other people achieved from the T70? all the fuel stuff can be upgraded thats not the issue here. why would you say the .84 housing?
well for right now i still have the 550 injectors, but will soon be upgrading those im sure. I plan on going maft-pro fairly soon as well. i have 550s, lex, wideband, safc, 255 walbro, and AFPR right now.
