either get a new 1JZ ecu, repair yours, or get the adapter harness and a 2JZ ecu.
theres no point to swapping in a 2J to fix your ecu problem, other than to say you now had a 2J.
couple things
1. Check and double check all of your grounds.
2. Check your fusible link in the underhood fuse box.
3. Make yourself a Sub-harness for the alt wires to bypass any possible bad wiring inside the wiring harness

its useless to call mines about it. ive tried before
ive owned 5 mine's ecu's and one blitz. they have the records on what was done to it. but they delete them 5 years after the ecu was made.
so unless you send the ecu back to japan to have mines read it, or you know someone with an eprom...
also check your codes. if you throw a code 14, your ecu is dead.
mine did something similar, hopefully its you fuel, thats much cheaper and less annoying
