Noob,novice questions
So i have a mk3 supra and a e-manage ultimate now i want to run boost on the 2jzge that's in the car. so Ive got a turbo and intercooler and all the tangible physical parts. but now im stumped on the sensors and actuators. i deal with PLCs at work so i get what inputs...
I really don't care if its stainless or mild steel or cast iron(turbo's exhaust flange). thought about taking some relatively thick plate and making a pattern of holset flange/pattern and welding a v band to it.
-I was looking at this part off fleabay and thought it could fit the holset...
So I've got a hx35 and a 2jzge and they wanna be together. So I ordered a fleabay.com Turbo manifold and 3" down pipe w/ v bands. Problem is I noticed that the holset doesn't have a v band on exhaust out. So question is" are all t3 exhaust housings the same 5 bolt pattern? If so ill order a. 3"...
fun part of exhaust was last weekend, now just getting all the a/c parts and diff seal together along with union fitting for the clutch line. so how does emanage wire in to the mess?
woohoo the 2jzge is in the supra and running!!! this weekend ill clean up the wires and get the trans bolted up and filled with oil and get the drive shaft in place. hoping to put a seal in the new 3.91 lsd diff and have it put in too. and i got my turbo also :D
ill have pictures up soon, but the engine is in and it effing runs! the hx35w came yesterday and holy crap its big compared to the turbos ive seen on vr6 and tdi. so this friday ill have more on the swap. im looking for wastegate and bov. im open to ideas and im planing on using a ebay turbo...
awe man im so jealous of that set up! i want a cobra calipers and redo the suspension on my mk3. 26 years of service, i believe its time to get her a lil surgery and toned up rofl just not enough time in the week.

yesterday pulled the 7mge and w58 and damn was the exhaust a pain! there is this support that holds it close to the trans and the bolt end up breaking while trying to back it off. but oh well thats the oly think that broke. so...

the problem was solder connection from the pins to the board.the idiot light is still on but i dont have any working tag lights and i assume there apart of the tail light failure module.

what i mean by going bright is there is the running light intensity and the brakes applied intensity. im not getting the higher intensity. i check for voltage ate the switch (12.7vdc) i checked all bulbs there the correct number as mentioned on several forums.
