Basicly they are saying they are plugging there boost pressure sensor hose and thats about it.....
I am not thinking this is going to work for us.... but does anyone wanna try it? I would but my car is not together yet.
It makes sence to me...
seeing that my spearco is 2.5 I dunno if I would want to go smaller piping diamater.
Can you make that in 2.5? and what would you want for it?
I would buy the 2" but i would have to find a 90% elbow that goes from 2" to 2.5" to adapt to my spearco.
Looks nice though.... props for making...
I would use your Credit card to get some other car and let the supra rest until you can get the funds or a loan to get it back up to 100%
I strees to the local guys around here to not use their "performance" car that they beat on as thier only mode of transportation. We have old cars and they...
I see that you are venting the bov back into the intake from the other post you wrote.... So disregard my fix on that.... I would say take apart the ISC and clean it... you should be fine.
Ok thats better.....
Lets start with the easy one, stalling after high RPM's: This is most likely from you BOV venting into the atmosphire. I would say tighten the screw down until you can get the car to Idle after higher r's. If you have the SAFCII you can mess with the dec/air settings...
we need to know more.... What Mods do you have? aftermarket BOV? that would cause some of your problems..... You could be running Rich..... without knowing what you have we are just guessing.
Auto air conditioners are driven by engine RPMS and the clutch is regulated by various sensors and switches, One of them being a high pressure switch. when the pressure gets to high it shuts the compressor down.....
Under load conditions when the pressure get to high constantly the compressor...
I think it disengages more under load the WOT I will confirm this with a Tech to see how it does it. The clutch knows when you are low on Freon and disengages then.... So i would have to say there is some sort of pressure switch in the Compressor.
Mine indeed gets warmer after awhile of WOT...
Look for a fuse in the fuse box that turns on with ignition....hook that up to the power wire (red) on the gauge
Ground simply goes to a metal spot under the dash.
Light wire (white) could either go to the same wire as the ignition (it would turn on when ever the Key is to the on...
at WOT your AC clutch shuts off anyway.....
as a pound of boost or take the spare out at the track..... Something.... Just leave the AC in.
I ran a 13.3 with the AC on and another 13.3 with the AC off... So I dunno
I have the M300
I tried the narrow band thing last year and I didnt have much luck but I think my ECU was messed up.
I am not sure if the 500 is differant but on the instructions for the M300 it said to hook up a resistor to the narrow band, Mabey I didnt do that right... I dunno
I am...
how many miles on your motor?
What Oil are you using? 10w30? 15w50? ect ect
is it leaking or burning?
Whats your compression?
I would have a good look to see if you are leaking from aged seals and or gaskets.
Then give your motor a good check up to see if the compression is...
boost leak
Weak waistgate accuator spring
Bad gauge
Clogged cat
First check all clamps and hoses to make sure that everything is tight and hoses have no cracks or cuts.
If you are using the stock gauge then try an aftermarket.... The stock ones are know to be inaccurate.
Put a couple...
