get a manual pump in the boat section at walmart and do it from undernieth the car. Takes me about 10 min. to do mine. I think the pump cost me about $5 and its alot easier than ripping your shifter off to do it IMO.

Is the sticker on the sensor kind of orange? if it is then thats the Turbo A map sensor!! If it is yellow then it is the boost gauge pressure sensor. The sensor i am going to try and use is 89420-14020 which is the boost gauge one. If that dont work i am going to try a GM 3 bar. I ordered...

IIRC the plug for the turbo pressure sender is on the body harness... its not on the3 engine harnnes. I am still trying to get answers on the intake air temp sensor. Where to put it.... Where to pin it.... Stuff like that. If you have the harness then maby you could help me with that...

Sounds to me like a ground issue. Try unlocking the car frome the Passengers side then see if it starts... What happens is, the drivers door lock gets worn and dont make contact with the sensor that disarms the alarm. I just had the no start problem with a customers car, and that took care of...

Did you clean the CPS when you took the cover off.. I had to spray electrical cleaner in mine once. oil might have built up in there, out valve covers tend to leak right on that thing.

did you just gap the plugs or did you change them... I have NGK coppers and they dont last that long at all.

Yes the whole head bolts right on to a USDM or JDM block. The blocks are the same.... just differant cams, larger TB and the turbo A came with a larger ct26a Turbo. As soon as i get my motor taken apart i will post up some pics!!

thats where I found the MAP signal!!!! The Diagran used is 5a and thats the same one I used when i hooked up my 89, So they should be the same except for that map pin then right?
