if you think it is oil burning,and it is close to the turbo,check the oil lines coming from the turbo. but whit smoke sounds like a BHG to me.

I have found the pinout for the plug under the dash,but am having a hard time finding a pinout sheet on the 1990 harness. The plugs are different,so maybe the wire colors are also. Any help would be appreciated,as I will be heading to work on the car tomorrow after work.

I bought a donor car to swap the engine trans into my chasis. today i discovered that my 89' is a pre 89 and has the square mounts,and the car i bought is a 90'. my question is,do i just get the brakets that bolt to the engine that fit my square ones? that is what i am thinkin,just not sure...

i am about to buy a 1j for my 89 supra. i need to know how to find out if i have a earlier 89 or a latter. from what i have read the earlier 89's had the 88 style crossmember,and the latter ones had the crossmember/mounts that will allow you to drop the 1j strait in. any help is appreciated.thanks.
