    If I had to do it again, I would not pick JE's. Too noisy, and the piston rings are not stock thickness (they're thinner)

    both the whites and the browns bolt onto the intake plenum. Is the two pin wire pretty long? If so, it should be the rear speed sensor on the tranny. It plugs in to the wires coming from the sensor, right around the top of the tranny.

    Just pull the tranny out. The whole assembly will come out: tranny, fork, clutch, and pressure plate.

    you can also remove the access plate on the other side of the bell housing, unbolt the pressure plate from the flywheel, and pull the tranny with the clutch attached.
