so after a year hiatus, i finally got her running, still got some bugs to work out but shes coming along nicely. got a nice code 12 (timing off) and i think the cps is going out. but i can finally listen to the work ive put into her

getting the motor out is fairly simple or straight forward. slow is the best way of getting it out. be careful not to swing and smash your windshield

yeah i did the same thing, got the fuel tank dropped might as well change the filter. i had 156k on my orignal filter the fuel coming out of it was black as hell

after a rebuild, if your planning on a bigger turbo; fuel is a must. you already said you wanted the 550's. a walbro or equevlent 255lph pump. an afpr is a good idea as well with fuel managment (HKS AFR, APEXi SAFC, MAFT PRO...) so your your not running rich with the 550's. maybe a wideband to...
yeah most automotive spray paints work, its hard to match colors though. and make sure you keep enough space between the can and the car. i seen a lot of people spray way to closely where the paint starts to run as well
