Went out to test my new turbo/qsv and went out to a back road to dial it in and a coupler blew. uploadfromtaptalk1371349993379.jpg
Going from a driftmotion 60-1 to a comp turbo billet, ball bearing 6265 over a qsv didn't impress me at all. Do I need to put a boost controller on it?

Driveshaft is in and engine is humming. Most of the electronics are wired in (still fiddling with the Apexi RPM gauge), and we are good to go.

Later this week Seth is going to do a street tune of the car to get her running nice and smooth, at which point she will get released back into the wild. After that I will schedule an hour of dyno time to fine tune the rest.

GodDAMN I missed her.

Removed the old ruined tint except for some of the hatch window tint, which is a pain in the ass and scary because of the defroster stuff.

Tonight I was finishing up removing the hatch tint, major pain the ass, I had to use a steamer and a razor blade to get the majority of it off but there are still some small strips on the defroster, so I sprayed the window with some 409 and put a trash bag over it to let it the sun heat it up in the morning and wipe it off hopefully. I hope I did not damage the defroster but I was very gentle when I was near it with the blade.

Took the plunge and swapped out the electric fans for the NA-2J fan that I got from another member. What's the best way to tighten down they bolts?

Does this look a little close?
