how wide of a rim do you honestly need? people stuff 315 on stock mk4 rims... i've seen 255+ on mk3 rims... lol

8.5'' is an odd number, but its also a nice medium between not big enough, and huge...

8.5 in front is okay. 8.5 in the rear will be sunk into the fender.:thumbsdow.

315 on a 9" TT MKIV rims has a lot of sidewall bulge.:thumbsdow
