Did the 12v mod this morning. Tweaked the afpr at idle to satisfy Vf. Car runs good, but still goes rich under full boost. It did clear up the lean spot between the 9v to 12v transition though. I need to adjust the afpr and lean out the top end without affecting the idle/cruise performance much. All in all it runs pretty darn good.

For some reason the dp flange is giving me hell. First one I welded wrong so i grinded it down and rewelded it, that leaked so i bought another flange and a graphite gasket. Welded that on correct but I took it for a drive and only help 6psi for maybe two pulls then spiked back up to 15psi. I think i may have warped the flange when I welded it.

Fuel pump is pretty simple if you buy a fuel pump controller out of a is300 or gs300. I have mine running off the factory s13 wires but a switch to turn on the relay.

Ok yeah I was thinking about going to a switch, if I can't get the stock one to work. My fuel pump will only kick on if I tap the main relay.........???? !!!! I can't figure it out.

It's possible you did warp it. If you tried to weld a continuous bead around it that's too much heat. I try welding an 1 - 1 1/2 inch at a time and give it enough time to cool down in between weld time. I just don't see how a DP flange leak would cause a boost spike.

Ya I did it all at once. Il get another I guess. It needs backpressure from the downpipe on the stock twin turbos or it will boost spike from having too small of a wastegate port.

I fixed my fuel pump problem. it was a problem with the alternator, I forgot to tighten the wire that runs back to the battery, and when the battery runs low it doesn't kick over the relay. with a fully charged battery the pump kicks on every time now.

Cool. Remember when I couldn't get my car to start? I borrowed your starter and tried it and it still wouldn't start. Turned out that I didn't even have the starter cable hooked up to the battery. :icon_redf

So what's next... mid pipe?

Yeah, I remember. I just finished tightening it and what would you know, battery light is off and it fires up every time. Now to fix a leak I have at the bottom part of the return line.... then around the block to see if my brakes work. If all goes well next week i'll take it to get the mid pipe done.
