Paints ethonal proof :)
But that's what filters are for aswell.
That tiny bit of paint vs how much crap you will spit out when you convert to ethonal is x100 more

Thats why you clean your tank lol

I cleaned my dsm tank with small pebbles like tons of people do, and still had to change my filter 3 times.
:)

Ya but that's a Dsm...there where probably transmission fragments floating around in there lol. (I have a glass jar full of transmission dust from my gvr4) :)

I think I'm going to change out and dissect my filter from last year to see what kind of crap the E-85 conversion did to it. I haven't noticed any pressure loss but its always nice to replace filters. ;)

How long have you been running the e85 out of curiosity?

Ah, late reply- my bad.

I have been running E-85 in my car for about 1.5-2 years now. At first I had a single 1020 pump and stock everything else (new filter), but now I'm on 2 Aeromotive stealth 340 pumps, 2 stock fuel filters, 2 stock fuel lines, and then some -6 line connecting to the fuel rail. I also tied the evap line and fuel return lines together to make sure I had enough flow capability back to the tank for the dual pumps. So far its worked out really well for me!

-in other news-
Driveshaft is on its way to me from Wes, I look forward to seeing it :D

Clint, you keep your car registered while working on it and having it down so long?

Can't do that up here in NY, all your build money would go to insurance.
