Thanks man. They're quite mean looking.

One of the rears now has a leak that I can't seem to find. It only does it when the weight of the car is on a certain point... damnit.

Not extremely heavy, given the size.

I want to say the rears w/285's mounted is 35-40lbs. They have to come off again so I'll try to weigh them.

So I bought an Ipod controller today, sick of fiddling with the Ipod while driving, and it occurred to me that the controller was the perfect size for the TEMS switch area.
Traced the TEMS switch plate onto the back of this textured ABS that I have and cut it out, did the same for the controller, and voila!

I'm very happy with the results, this puts it directly at my fingers and the controls are quite simple. It's even got an FM receiver! (going headunit-less in this car)

Also, I added a 10mm spacer to the front wheels, they fill out the "flare" much better now.

Very cool, ipod goes in the console? Might have to look into this for my car...

dok: Thanks! Ipod does indeed go in the console. Haven't worked out the intricacies yet, but I'm also working on a solution as the text is constantly scrolling on the display which is great, but drains the Ipod battery rather quickly.

If you buy that same display unit, I'll gladly make another mounting plate for you. Just PM me

To compare, I can usually go a week and a half on a single charge on my Ipod. I have a 45 minute drive to and from work, and do a fair bit of driving on the weekend. I'd say my Ipod has a 12-15 hour battery life, easy.
This, when hooked up, will kill the battery in about 3 days. That drops the battery life to 4-5 hours... unacceptable.
I found this unit, made by Kensington, it's a pass through Ipod charger that reportedly works well, although somewhat unpopular for whatever reason.

That's a badass car, I like it alot better with the wing back on it. This will get the paint back to looking new, just takes alot of elbow grease, but guaranteed results. First use the clay bar, then wax your car by hand using all 3 steps, yes it's alot of work, will take a full day or more, but your paint will look amazing. $30-$40 total, GUARANTEED RESULTS.

Rajunz: Thanks :bigthumb: I think I like it better with the wing as well. Plus, I don't want to bother filling in all those holes... lol
The reason I took it off is because the previous owner glued them down with different types of RTV/seam sealer... so I'm peeling that up in favor of a cleaner approach, plus the front of the left wing is broken, and re-glued, so I'll have to fix that.
I'd really like to find these ABFlug extended wing sides, but I doubt I'll ever find them:

Thanks for the tip, I'm definitely going to try all that I can to get the paint back before going for a respray.

In due time, my friend. In due time.
Wait till after I wax it to perfection, that way, the paint will be nice and smooth so nothing... sticks... to it... ;)

Those side wing extensions are badass.

My car was really pink when I bought it, that Meguiar's will definitely work. Over the years, just keep doing the 3 step process, it just gets deeper and deeper looking every time.

Update: Did a bit of work fitting the IC pipes last night. Quite a hassle, but it will be worth it once they're all welded.
Still have some trimming to do, but otherwise the cold side is done. The hot side will not be shown, I hate the routing, but it's temporary until FFIM day comes.
