basically you need a damn solid tune at that compression and that size turbo. I have a buddy running a 2JZ with over 10:1 compression + GT4788R (iirc) but he has a solid conservative tune

so your not running oil squirter? wouldnt that cause a rod knock after a time? also what did you do with the other knock sensor since the GTE's have 2? and would it be worth it to get oil squirter's put in a GE block?

Oil squirters cool the pistons, without them there its just more flow to bearings. You could drill the holes if you really wanted too. When you modify the oil system the squirters will bleed pressure sooner and i have not seen custom ones .Knock sensor wire can be spliced together or drill and tap like I did.

Put a walbro 255lph pump in today and running a return-less rail.. Around 70PSI in the rail putting my stock 440CC injectors at about 558CC's at that fuel pressure! I am running 2 degree's BTDC base timing and wastegate to be safe until monday when I can throw it up on the dyno or street tune it.. But It already runs cooler and pulls harder with the timing and boost lower than what I had it on 91.. I love it :D

Hey guys, Just a small update have some more things in store for more boost.. Car has been running excellent.

I went out to the track last friday and was able to get in a few passes.. 10 Psi of boost on the Stock turbo yielded me a 12.9 1/4 mile with a 106 trap speed, 1.9 60ft..

Some old tires I were running weren't giving me any good results for the 60 ft times.. I turned my boost up to 12 lbs but the 60fts just got worse due to spinning however my trap speeds were high 108's. That was with no boost off the line just staging at 2000 rpm on the high stall converter. We will see what it does next time out on 15 lbs, more timing, tires and leaving under power.. Might be able to pull off the record that suprarich set with a 70 shot.. I however will try to do it without any spray.. ;)

Threw it up on the dyno today for shits and giggles because I had some spare time at work.. Made 303 WHP 352ft lbs of torque on 13lbs dropping off to 10 lbs need to put more washers to shim up the waste gate.. That was on straight 91 octane, should be close to 340-350whp with E85 and tuning.. You can see the torque drop off so much because its pulling timing, detonating quite a bit up top.

Since we are going to be setting some records, I'm going to start working on getting the car ready a lot faster than planned..

New front and rear Tires
Shaftmasters Aluminum one piece driveshaft
750CC Injectors
Lexus AFM
Custom 3 inch turbo back exhaust (straight pipe)
Turbo Blanket
Modify lower intercooler pipe for better fitment
More boost :D
