So I've been looking for a wide-body kit in order to get more rubber under my factory wide-body 88, and so far the only one I've found is the Aero Craft Kaze kit (http://aerocraft-kaze.com/index1.html). It looks nice, but I can't find any details on it in English, and I don't speak Japanese. Does anyone have any details on this or know when I can find some?

Thanks!

Acroth is the only guy, or at least was the only guy, in North America with one of these. From what I recall he had it shipped from Japan at tremendous expense. It might actually be cheaper to scratch build your own widebody.

Hmm. Shit. Well, hopefully he'll PM me back and I'll get a chance to talk directly with him about it. I'd really hate to have to build a set myself... they'd probably look like shit.

Acroth is not the only one w/ Kaze in the US.

As far as where to get it... takakira ( I am not spelling it right here I always forget how to spell it ), used to stock Kaze and you could order from them.

BUT if they no longer do your best bet is to do what I did to get S2 available in the US.... talk to RHDJapan and ask them to list it on there site. They were VERY helpful for me getting S2 on their site and they even gave me a 5% off coupon afterwards. GL.

** Super 1337 edit** Here you go:

http://www.takakaira.co.jp/main.aspx Search by car. You'll see Kaze on the first page w/ prices.

Depending on what you are looking for, on RHDjapan.com, there is the s2 wide fender kit for both the front and rear. I know that it isnt a true body kit, as it only is just brings the fenders out 35mm on both sides in the front and 50mm on both sides in the rear (or something like that). I am not sure what it would do in terms of allowing you to add skirts and such, but I do believe the s2 body kit pieces will work with it. I am thinking about ordering the wide fenders for myself.

I wouldn't hold your breath. Maybe try emailing him if you're serious.

Is he the guy who used to have the AOL page with all the bodykits on it? AOL killed all their homepages last fall sometime, and that one went down with them, which is a shame, there was so much useful information there.

Found the Stout hood. Carbon Fiber is only $1000 :aigo:

The AOL webpage is still viewable, just not all of the images are available anymore.

I've already got those images archived, but the majority of them are missing. I'm trying to contact the original author of the website to get a mirror of it posted up here.

If you can dig up the rest of the examples he had posted on that page, let me know and I'll put them together on a page and archive them here. (And keep a backup on another server. I hate it when information like this gets lost, especially when it's due to AOL stupidity.)

Then tell him to lower it and invest in spacers. Then it won't look so cheap.
