ok so the seat works, but still no windows.

swapped the guage fuse out and still no rpm, water temp, oil psi, or volts....::dunce::
did the gauge fuse blow after you replaced the fuse?

when the gauge fuse blows, the windows, power locks, gauges and climate contol don't work. surprisingly, there are tons of things related to the gauge fuse.

i had to track down all the wires that were crimp connected and re-solder them, then shrink wrap them. I had some help from Jose and Ernie though. It kept blowing the gauge fuse til i found the last one.

dont know if it did, how do you check that 30A fuse? it appears to be sealed, i cant see inside of it...

found the last one what? i have climate control disconnected at the moment, but i believe my power locks still work...

could this plug have anything to do with my guage problem?? i recently swapped in an engine from a 92, my car is a 90. everything works fine and hooked up with ease as it should, but the bottom connector was on the 92 harness with a matching plug under the glove box of the 92, the top one was from my 90 which has the other end under my 90 glove box..

after the swap, this was the only difference in the two cars, and now my guages dont work. the windows worked up until yesterday though....

I was talking about the 7.5A fuse in the driver's side kick panel.

found the last one what?
the last wire that was crimp connected, and re-soldered it.

use a fuse tester to check the fuses. check the wires and the grounds as well.

Not necessarily related, but check your window switch contacts. I didnt even have contact cleaner or a good Brillo pad but I was able to clean them enough to get them working perfect again

so literally take the switch off of the main box and clean that connector correct???

Yes, clean the connectors and the part where the metal switchs touch the metal base, my passanger window did the same thing, it would go down but not back up. After I cleaned it out if works like new.

Careful on the driver side. My window lock spring popped out before I even had a chance to see how it went back in. Luckilly I never need to lock my windows :).

Ive had to clean the contacts of several window switches and have always been able to make them work. I would say you have several electrical issues though. God I hate wiring problems...I just cant wrap my brain around them.
