I finally must have all of my vacuum lines run correctly. I finally got time to get them run right, and just got back from a test drive. It drove so much better than it ever has in this car. I just need to figure out one more problem, and it should be ready for real road travel, registration, and clutch break in.

The problem is a very bad clunk in the back end. I don't know if it is the rear end, or a loose wheel. I only hear it when off of the pedal. If I heard it while accelerating, I'd worry about driveshaft. I really think it is rear end.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised if that diff is bad after all the power and torque it has received in the past. Mine is bad and clunks, vibrates, pops when turning and drones like a bitch going down the highway.

UPDATE*****

I rearranged some wiring to figure out my power probles (Fuel Pump and NEO), and got the constant power to the fuel pump solved. I also found the clunk in the rear to be a loose wheel!

I finally took the car out of the 25mph neighborhood today, and took it out on the interstate for a drive. It is a very nice riding car, with no rattles, and fantastic handling. I now have the confidence (and the money) that it will make the 10 mile drive to go get it registered either Monday or Tuesday. Today's trip was totaly without a single problem. I'm so stoked about it. Now I can't wait to get the brand new clutch broken in.

I'm going to be leaving here in a minute to go tune George's car on the dyno. Everyone say a quick prayer for me. I hope I don't tear anything up..........crosses fingers.

410rwhp @ 17psi on a conservative tune. I wanted this motor to last so I have the timing on the safe side and I also have the boost cut set at 18psi so George can't try turning the boost up.........:biglaugh:

That's just about all the HP I ever planned for George's car! I have yet to see pictures of his new paint though. I'm sure Frankensupra is pretty happy now.

As for my car, I put most of my dash together today, and installed my short shifter. I have been having idle problems that I couldn't figure out for a while now, and just been dealing with it for now. I cranked the car today, and it purred like a new baby kitten. I have no idea who fixed that in my sleep. I have easily run it long enough for the ECU to have learned idle before now. Very Strange!
