exuse me, but where does it say its slow as hell? i'm sure the 350 moves the thing a lot more then a stock n/a. i don't see the stupidity? :withstupi
If this is the same car which i'm almost sure it is. it is a five speed, 350 car so i'm sure with the right rear-end it be as fast as you need it to be.
It was for sale at the same time that i got my sbc supra it was suppose to have around 400 hp according the builder. it had a pretty decent built motor, mid cam, longer rods, forged pistons. so i'm sure it would run with some supras around here.
The only problem I see is a carbuerator. Fuel Injection FTW. Unless, it's a TBI, then I could live with that.

I don't see anything wrong with sbc in supra. He likes supra body and sbc power. He combine them .
A local guy had a tuned-port SBC in his... Tons of torque, dunno how fast it was top end though...
i agree for +1 for something different. i have thoughtg about buying a junk yard supra rotressing it and than throwing a 383 stroker in it or a 403 stroker. But i want me 2j supra first lol
