    Where did everyone go?

I’m mostly an unknown in the community, but I’ve owned Supras since 1993. I currently own a clean 91 turbo, which hasn’t seen the road since February 2016. I’ve been too lazy to replace a coolant hose, that’s all it needs. My mkiv needs nothing, only registration. It too sits all the time...

    1991 Turbo Hardtop on eBay?

73 year old, meticulous mechanical engineer story is struggling with a) filthy seats that have been given a deep, recent clean up. I still see big stains on the upholstery b)remnants of custom intercooler piping, which is barely mentioned in passing, on the notes c) very nice aftermarket 3 inch...

    James' 89 Supra Turbo

Beautiful, clean Supra, congrats. And major props for not wanting to do some ugly body mods, like ive seen done. Q: what coilover setup do you think youll go with?

What did you do to your supra today? Pics

I washed the old chariot for the first time this year. She sleeps in the garage day and night but gets dusty after time. She cleaned really well. After, I took her for a spin. It was fun.

Experienced opinion on when to reuse MHG?

Have you checked your thermostat? If it's old and opening sluggishly, that can cause your quick heating up. Also, did you fully purge the cooling system? It tends to trap air and cause problems. On the head gasket reuse, my personal opinion is that after doing all the work, using a brand new...

As these cars get older its harder to find a "low mile" car......

Parts car. You'll soon be tired of poring $$ at it and still being a pile. In my not so humble opinion, always buy the best Supra you can afford. After shopping around extensively, not the first overpriced pipe dream that pops up.

    1JZ swap reliability questions

Get all new sensors, seals, hoses and a brand new engine wiring harness. I do realize this is a non US production car, so this might be difficult. Regardless, the items I mentioned, being brand new, will go a long way to improve reliability. One question though, how is the weather in your...

    Good laugh here guys

There was a local dude selling an old Celica with a home made mkiv Supra body kit. There's always some imbecile with a $500 budget who though that was a good idea...

What little things did you to do make your car feel new again?

I'm thinking new stock suspension bushings and door seals, along with new tires as soon as possible. I've always wondered about the noisy door mechanism....

    7mge to 7mgte swap

If OP didn't know that the 7mgte needs an intercooler, perhaps an engine swap shouldn't be attempted...I'm just saying.

    Just purchased 1987 Turbo

This x 1000. Don't waste time and effort bleeding old parts, only to have them leaking again. Replace, bleed, and clean the spilled fluid. Sweet looking Supra. Have fun with it.

    Who really rebuilds R154s

I'm local to Jacks' and might pay them a visit. My spare r154 is in pieces and I'd like to have it rebuilt. Questions: what are ballpark prices for getting an r154 rebuilt? And how much would a Jacks' rebuilt r154 sell for, if I decided to get it rebuild and then put up for sale?

Not your common "speedometer doesn't work" thread

Ok. Here comes the same question asked a different way: how do I remove the large threaded metal piece so the nylon wheel can come out the transmission body? I've removed the 12mm bolt and the small metal tab, but the large threaded metal part won't move in any direction. Sorry I'm being dense...
