    H6054 Projectors

Those look incredible! Do they have a motor/solenoid to move the shade for high/low beams?

    Florida MKIII Supra Registry

YEAR: 1987 ASPIRATION: NA ROOFLINE: Hardtop TRANSMISSION: a340e EXTERIOR COLOR: dark blue INTERIOR COLOR: blue cloth LOCATION: West Palm/Palm Beach Gardens No pics yet, but I just moved out here from CA, probably shipping the widebody mk3 this way as a parts car, as it has my GTE/R154/LSD...

    Question to the wide-rims gurus

Not quite; you have to take into account the thickness of the face of the rim (offset is measured from the back, lip from the front) as well as the curvature of the face. If it was a perfect world where every face was straight and the same thickness, you'd be right ;)

    Driving shoes

Yeah, I have to wear lineman boots for my job...steel toe, steel shank, and a 1" heel that clears my gaffs...damn things weigh like 8lbs each. Driving with those on feels like throwing bricks at pedals and hoping it does what you want it to. Thanks for the responses...I was curious if there was...

    Driving shoes

What does everyone wear for serious driving? I have a beat up pair of DCs that flex something wonderful, and my Converse that are, well, canvas over a thin rubber sole. The crew over at the kart track (gotta race something while the supra's under the knife) keep telling me that I should look...

    Wheel Fitment & Question Thread

This. Front could use some spacer, but that's golden for most guys that don't drop it balls low, but will still roll a fender. What suspension setup are you on, and what aero kit is that? Looks awesome.

    New power!!!! 404HP 405ft lbs @ the wheels CT26 on 17.5lbs

Driver mod + transmission work. A good driver with a good transmission is able to squeeze way more out of a good motor setup.

    Worth puting back together?

Do a search around here for the chassis repair supplement to the repair manual; it'll show you how to measure between various mounting points to see how much damage is actually done. Also, check your suspension arms and mounts...depending on how it hit and how fast, those can go south when...

    Hp and MPG?

Funny you mention the RX8...I just learned that they do not like the 2-stroke treatment that the older 13B motors need to stay alive. Every month, my friend would put a $0.99 bottle of 2-stroke oil in the gas tank of his FC. Put 240k miles on the original apex seals, and it died with 280k on the...

Whats up Sold supra sad day.

I learned almost a year ago not to beat on Japanese cars my own age, and in a stock 7MGTE at that. I did my engine maintenance, and was driving to CenCal at least twice a week so I thought I was solid. Didn't check out my suspension before a romp in the hills, ball joint let go from not being...

    Wheel Fitment & Question Thread

Offset: Distance from the mounting pad to the centerline of the wheel, in millimeters. Positive means that the mounting pad is outboard from center, and there's more wheel behind the face, negative is inboard with more wheel outside the face. Mounting pad: The back of the area on the face of the...

    Hp and MPG?

Yeah...even with the 3.73, 4th gear takes forever. 3.5 would just be insane on a 7M...but it's fairly close to what the MKIV had with the 6-speed. Think the factory 6MT rear-ends were 3.43? I do know, however, that the lower-geared differentials tend to spool turbos faster because of the load...

    Hp and MPG?

Stock 7M with an intake, arp+mhg, 3.7 gears, r154, and extensive aero work/widebody. I was getting 28mpg consistently over the 71 mile trip to Manteca, as long as I stayed out of boost. Pretty sure I could crack 30, maybe 32 if I had lean cruise tunability. It's to be noted, however, that...

You know you're a Supra owner when...

...when you realize that even though you wrecked the hell out of it and it's been down for almost a year, and it *still* has a clean title. Resilient little bastards, aren't they?

Project "so I have this widebody..."

Resurrection post! And some progress! In the last couple months, I've: *Replaced the damaged links. All of them. Too bad I'll need to take it all apart again to go polyurethane. *Prepped my broken body pieces. This takes far longer than you'd think...but just like paint or any other bodywork...

    NorCal Supras!

Stockton area would work, I think...it's an hour from here, Modesto, Sac, and the east/south bay if you play the freeways right.

    NorCal Supras!

It'll happen...there's a lot of us working on projects right now. There's three 7m builds and a 2jz mk3 in the making in my city alone. Myself, I got screwed by the weather. Just about ready to glass my rear quarter panel, got time off to do it, and it rains :(

Upgrading Central locking to keyless entry

Try the12volt's install bay, should have pretty much everything covered. -edit: I now see that I was posting in MKIV discussion. Didn't realize that on my phone, lol.

Upgrading Central locking to keyless entry

Look on the TSRM at cygnusx1.net for the wiring diagram for the drivers side window/door control...all lock and window functions can interface there, or (better idea) you can follow those wires back to the kick panel where you'll be wiring in the module into the door triggers/flashing...

    Wheel Fitment & Question Thread

I just looked at my friends stock body 89 NA on eibachs and 18s and came to a conclusion...follow me through another thought experiment if you will. Consider this: we have an 18x9.5+35 in the rear, with a 265/35, at stock height. For the sake of simplicity (this setup is actually a really nice...
