Had some more ideas to correct the minor sidewall overflow.
Option:
1) have rear wheels split and welded 2 inches wider making them 17x11 don't know the cost of it, or what offset it will make them.
2) order replica 17x10.5 svt rims with a 27 offset
3) order replica FR500 17X10.5 same 27...
Now that I see the 315s on the car, ya there a bit oversized. Next time around I'll get 275-305's or step up and get some nice aftermarket rims.

is there a picture floating around of a mk3 with the 280 z bolt on flares?
I believe i'll be able to tuck the wheels with a good healthy pull and roll on the fenders.
