Is the CPS set right? I haven't worked on a 7M in a while but isnt the CPS supposed to be adjusted somewhere in the middle. I am talking about the location of the bolt on the range of movement for the adjustment it has.

If they built the motor with tolerances on the loose side, you will get lower oil pressure. When race motors are built, clearances are usually increased to take into account thermal expansion. The 2JZ spec is in the TSRM. 20-30 hot idle is what you will be around and you will exceed 100 near...

Same as the 2JZ spec. If they built it loosely, the oil pressure will reflect that.
