    turbo blanket????

it doesnt look THAT bad...but i can foresee what it would look like after some use, dirt buildup and a pressure washing or 2 to make it dull/stained.

    Water Wetter, anybody use it?

i live in texas so coolant isnt really needed but for a few months a year. i run water wetter and distilled water every summer on my bike and the stuff works like it says. i used it on my integra and never had a true temp gauge so i dont know how well it worked, but it did seem to do the...

    7MGTE egr or no egr

here in tx i barely passed smog with no egr...but that was also because they didnt actually roll my car, they just revved it up and fooled the machine, somehow i passed with a mini high flow cat and full 3", stock everything otherwise. i think with the new motor ill go ahead and buy the egr...

    replacing the castiron elbow

i get it now, thanks. now that you mention it, it does look like the bends arent quite right and it seems like a custom job but i dont know what brand it is except for a flowmaster high flow cat and the apex n1..its got the worst looking weld job for a hangar...destroyed a perfect finish on that...

19" wheels in the rear & 18" up front

no not really, most run 18's already, whats another inch...and in the rear it wont need to turn lock to lock. more width options like mentioned before. i wanna know how deep of a dish can you run with the stock backspacing. more pics? not that my car would need an extra wide rear tire, id...

    Frozen gas lines?

dont forget theres ethanol in gas today. it collects moisture, especially after 6 months. i would pour some octane boost and a few gallons of fresh gas and maybe get a fat guy to dance in the hatch to mix it up? you can cycle the key a few times to circulate the fuel a little...but really...

    replacing the castiron elbow

i dont see how those elbows WONT get the job done?...they gotta be twice as good as the stocker. i mean for 70 bucks its worth a shot in my opinion. i already have 3" from the stock elbow back, if i put a stainless on it, what gains will i expect? will it help spool up and boost? or are all...

    Boost Leak Tester ?'s

youre forgetting about egr systems...sometimes the egr valves dont close 100% and you get that whistle through the whole intake...well depending on the truck, but you get the point for me i get about 75% loose clamps, 15% cac (intercooler/charge air cooler) and 10% are the boots/o-rings

    project drop it low

point taken, im absolutely wrong when it comes to this car specifically. sincere apologies, honestly. i would have a couple points to make about spring rates, where to heat and why its not a stress factor, and the big one, what is and isnt safe... but theres no reason to go on with any of...

    HELP! Clutch/shifting problems!!

check the texture and smell of the fluid, if its thick like engine oil and you can rub your fingers together really easy then its power steering (my guess) if it smells sweet then its red coolant, but it wont taste sweet so dont try, youll def regret it, lol. if its a fairly thin oil (sort of...

does anyone know how to paint cars?

looks like they just about got you covered...its really all personal preference on what sandpaper to start with. really it depends on the shape of the bumper...if it requires filling then id use a pretty rough grit like 80-120 to get that area ready (NOT the whole bumper) remember that when...

    project drop it low

glad someone can atleast somewhat take my back for a change...sorry for the mini rant, its just every post i get flamed. the first thing i said was he should get lowering springs, THEN i gave him a FREE alternative if he just wants to play around with different heights. as for cutting...
