ok, there is a second purple wire, i dont remember which one we connected. If the diagrams said that they were for an auto, then we didnt connect it, but one of the 2 wires was not shown on any of my wiring diagrams.

Thanks guys, temp sensor makes sense, i am going to be connecting everything up tomorrow to get her running. Oh, does anyone know if the stock radiator from a 7m works with the hydrofan setup? I read a few times that it takes a different one. Thanks

Perfect, that is why i didnt need the auto one. Man, i need to find the hydrofan connections. I still have the hydrofan, even though i now regret it. I paid like 150 for a used setup, i really wish i had gone with an electric fan setup. Thanks for the help

Well, i just posted what i havent found. It is nearly done. So close, i havent tried to start yet, i think she will start no problem, i am just trying to get abs and cruise and ac stuff connected. It is 1 wire from which harness? 88 or 90? I did find 2 purple wires, each wiring diagram said it...

We have no clue what these two things are. This has no connections on the wiring diagrams. This is from the 1jz wiring harness another angle also this thing, it isnt on any of my diagrams. this plug is from a 1989 auto turbo.

okay, i am seriously confused. i recieved 2 11213-42020 gaskets are these the same with a different part number? THey do seem to fit

I found the part numbers, but i still dont know which one goes one which side. Valve Cover Gaskets: The 1JZ and 2JZ valve cover Gaskets are the same. So, you CAN! use the 2JZ valve cover gaskets on the 1JZ. The P/N's for the 2JZ gaskets are: 11213-46020 Gasket, Vc List 13.53 Cost 10.00...

Today I got a set of 2jz valve cover gaskets, but i dont remember which is which. I cant tell the difference, but they do have different part numbers. Let me know. I know i read the part numbers somewhere once, but i did a search and didnt find it. Thanks!

Ok, so back to my question, how do i cure the slack? I cant adjust the bolts anymore, it is about an inch too long. :(

Wow, drift motion says it is several feet too long, mine is just about 2" too long, so this must not be a 1jz throttle cable. It might be a used MKIV one, it is literally like 1-2" too long. anyone have any ideas.
