Deciding on what to do. Suggestions?

1j, it isn't that hard to swap in and they were originally in this car, just not shipped outside japan ;-) There's plenty of aftermarket support for it and capable of at least 700rwhp on stock internals.

If your looking to put 2JZ cams into your 1JZ, look at this

No. It's the mass of air going into the motor, boost is just a factor in this. Saying it's the size of the turbo is actually quite right because as a rule of thumb bigger turbo's move a bigger mass of air.

    Catch can

Nope, there's no one way valve on the exhaust side cam cover hose to the intake y-pipe. And yes, for the stock set-up that would be the obvious place to connect the catch can to for vacuum.

need site or info and pics on installing dual walbros on mkiii

copy paste SF... If you have the chance, go to another shop, I mean come on, if they can't even do that I wouldn't trust them on anything else! And if they say they even haven't heard of dual pumps in tank... I'd run. But ok, to help you out, here's how we did it. It's on a mkiv, but the...

    Catch can

Yep, that's correct. For drain, it would be nicer to stick a little tap on it with a hose downwards then to cap it off. Once in a while you need to drain the collected oil and it's easy if there's a small tube going down, you set a can on the ground underneeth it and open the tap.

    How the hell do I....

You got lucky, mostly the pin is quite stuck, once you manage to push that in properly it will come off easy.

    Catch can

In my book pcv means Positive Crankcase Ventilation, which describes the system to remove the harsh blow-by gasses from the crank case. On our 1jz engines these fumes go to the cam covers like I described before. From these cam covers in the stock situation these gasses are removed in two...

    Catch can

correct, no need for it. Oh and Kosh, the crankcase is breathing through the head of the block, there are canals running through the block from the crankcase to the head which end up in the space above the head which are covered by the camcovers.

    walboro fuel pump

That will do the trick, you won't even need an afpr. Stock fuelrail with dual side feed and middle return can support 700rwhp, it's been done, can't remember top of my head who it was, there was a dyno along with it also.

Yes, you are right, didn't even think that far, that will also be a problem.

    1jz head studs?

I'm running 800cc's sard's on an emanage blue on a blitz ecu which is tuned for 550's and I would say that's about the max. Getting it to idle right took me three days. Assuming your car is a street car; If you consider running 1000cc's on an emanage blue on a stock ecu that will be a little...

    Stroke a 1JZ...

OK, enough people went over it, but I must say post #1 IS funny!! Signature worthy I would say. But anywayz, yes, you could use a 2j crank in a 1j shortblock > main journals are the same and of course they are the same distance apart, else we wouldn't be able to make the 1.5jz ;-) Would be...

    Catch can

Hook it up like that and cap off the intake where the tube used to be and you're good to go. Mount the catch can in a cool place so as much oil condensates as possible. For an even better effect, baffle the catch can internally to get a bigger surface for condentsation. The crank case is...

    Catch can

    - Tubing is connected to the intake pipe before the turbo, there is always vacuum there. If you connect it to the intake manifold, then you need to put a one way valve in between. Downside of this is you won't have any vacuum anymore once there's boost. - These tubes on the stock set-up are...
